214 Pulteney St.

The site of 214 Pulteney Street had never been built on. Previously an unused laneway only 4.5m wide, we transformed the lane into a dynamic 4 level office with high levels of natural light, cross ventilation and excellent views.

The ground floor contains the disguised car parking garage and the lift lobby. The upper floors are staggered with mezzanines and timber bridges and all spaces and offices are open. The unique composition of the interior allows for privacy and separation of spaces within a larger open area.

Custom designed, large format glass louvres define the front façade which overhangs the front boundary, giving the occupants excellent views down Pulteney Street and a sense of being amongst the action of the street.

The interiors carefully achieve a balance between the raw bluestone, the exposed concrete features, crisp white walls and the warm timber floors. This design was created when PACT was known as Pruszinski Architects.
