Luigi Delicatessen

Luigi Delicatessen is a small café fitout on the ground floor of a new city office building. Prior to opening its doors in 2014, our brief was to create an intimate, contemporary fit out, inspired by the owner’s family heritage – Italy. In response, the chosen material palate for the interior was marble benchtops, terrazzo floors, recycled timber joinery (used as formwork for the construction of the building). This palette is continued through the custom designed San Pellegrino light wall, made from 266 back-lit bottles of varying flavours, this along with the custom designed tables provides strong identifying features for the space. This design was created when PACT was known as Pruszinski Architects.
